Charlie Chaplin Time Traveller - Recovered Audio!!

They picked up Audio from the mysterious cell-phone talking time traveler. ;D

Is it really so crazy to think someone is walking by talking to themselves…? Don't we see it all the time with these people on their teeny phone headsets shoved into their ears? You don't even realize they have a phone or that they're NOT talking to you. LOL.

  1. Well, landlines did exist in 1928; maybe she was just being a wise-guy! ;D

Seriously, though, how in the world did they recover audio when it wasn't recorded? Or was it? Did Charlie Chaplin ever do any talkies? If he didn't, that "recovered audio" could be bogus.

  2. LOL. It's totally bogus. They used a current cellphone ring. Probably clipped talk from another old film and added it. It's done well though. So funny. :P
I think Charlie Chaplin only 'talked' in 'Modern Times' he sings a song of gibberish words, to show that talking doesn't matter..something along those lines, making a statement.

  3. Oh yes, Chapling did a talkie: The Great Dictator! But as far as I know, he didn't like talkies, he just did it because there wouldn't have been any way to do this as a silent movie.

  4. That's right, I forgot about the Great Dictator. I only remember seeing clips of that one. I like many of Chaplin's films. Sometimes my sis and i call my nephew 'Charlie' because of how he waddles around with that mass of curly dark hair, and he does these little things..like pantomimes, because he can't talk much yet..that I see in Chaplin films. It's so cute.
