This was truly an inspiring video. Seeing the Wilman walking away at the end was particularly poignant. When spinal stenosis reduces a former athlete to barely being able to climb a flight of stairs, and fading vision has cost me my ability to drive (and therefore, in this part of the country, to hold a job!), that closing scene spoke to me personally. Hold onto your dreams, indeed, even when it seems that your future is behind you!
Very nice comment. I agree. And you are a New Yorker too! ;D Just had to add that!
oh, and that touched me seeing Wildman walk away too, and all the past dreams of the notable historical figures. Great job, Dolores! Really great.
I love this video ! It is so sweet and she chose some of my favorite scenes! What a great job! EmilyW
Thank you, guys, for your nice and encouraging comments! You know, it's always a struggle for me to find the time to do stuff like this, as there are always more important things on my list. It's good to see that even those things you make "just for fun", are not useless, but even help inspire other people. That's great.
That's very true, Dolores. In the years I've run websites and made videos, I've had people open up and tell me all sorts of things that inspired them about Voyagers, Jon, etc. etc. I was just like..woah! But you managed to put a really nice message into your video with the song choice. Sometimes that can be hard to do. Awesome work!
Smart kids give me a pain… Comments, thoughts, and ideas are appreciated!
