The Guidebook Concept

Simply stated, Voyagers Guidebook is a sister blog to my currently 5 year-old-website Voyagersguidebook: The Ultimate Picture Fansite.

Here I attempt to do as my blog intro suggests and rant, rave, and show true love for my favorite TV Show, Voyagers! I use this place to comment on all the cool and interesting things that strike my fancy about the show–the characters, motivations, episodes, scenes, sets, music, goofs, actors, and how the series connects to and even inspired other Time Travel genre shows.

What about everything else?

This is a forum for me to post my own and other great fan-videos, a hobby I acquired back in 2006. I discovered the fun pleasure of combining vivid images and some of my favorite songs. It is a creative outlet I never stopped honing, regardless of lacking the latest and greatest Movie making programs. It's definitely the director and storyteller  in me. I also post ideas and reviews on my favorite books or current reads, my all time favorite movies and I tend to proclaim my deep and quirky love for seventies/eighties/nineties TV shows.

I consider myself an amateur writer, and a pretty darn good one, with enough humility to say I will never stop learning to improve. And I'm sure i have a long ways to go. I have dreams of being published. Even if it never pans out,  (That's the unfortunate Dreamer vs. The Doer in me!) Still, that doesn't deter me creatively.

I unabashedly love Fan-Fiction and write it, time permitting, to my heart's content! It's great writing practice and feedback from others who love it just as much. ;D So yep, from time to time I will always plug my stuff!

My brain is never focused on just one thing, so this isn't a narrow or even really 'focused' blog, like say, 'Needlepoint' or 'Watercolor' only.

I also have love for history, particularly Old New York/Brooklyn history, so I sporadically share my musings on that as well.

If I had to state the main themes of this blog, I'd say invariably say-
